Abstract

Abstract

The base of development depend on the earnings by working men power which migrated from rural and most backward part of India. Study based on the survey about 550 migrated families of four and 700 individuals from Bihar and Madhya Pradesh, with family income were between Rs. 250-1000 per month which were migrated during the period of April to July every year. 2000 stay in Delhi out of 20,000 per day. These migrants were involved in building construction (70%), factories (9%) and vegetable seller/ venders (5%). Their income increases by 35% since 2005 to 2015. The inflation was more than 35% during this period. Seasonal migration was 18% and annually was reported by 2.68% in which 1.56% stay permanently in Delhi. Approximately 56.5L money transfer from Delhi by migrants. Bihar is on top by78.5% followed by M.P. 12.2%. Use of migrated money in to making shelter, food and health.
