Abstract

Journal of Intellectual Property Rights (JIPR) is one of the leading and foremost research journals in the field of intellectual property. JIPR is indexed by Social Sciences Citation Index, Social SciSearch, and Journal Citation Reports (Social Sciences Edition). The purpose of this study is to examine the growth pattern of research output of JIPR for the year 2007 -2014. Three eighty eight papers under 48 issues of eight volumes have been selected from 2007 to 2014 for the study. The study revealed that The majority of (20.84%) papers were contributed by USA which is got the first position followed by China (19.91%) which is got the second position and United Kingdom is the third position and state wise sharing of articles in which the highest number of articles were contributed by authors from New Delhi (21.01 %), followed by West Bengal (10.91 %) and Karnataka (10.38 %). The degree of collaboration in this journal ranges from 0.24 to 0.47 and the average degree of collaboration is 0.36.
